2013

The new offline finishing system providing a wide range of conversion and finishing options installed in the Factory Workshop III facilities. New production and warehousing facilities have been added on to ensure the provision of extra warehousing space and flexibility.

2012

Preparations for construction of the new facilities are fully underway. In addition, we are well into the planning of our new offline finishing system, due to give birth to a new line of services: Under the “greenoffice by melter” packages we are in position to offer our customers increased communication flexibility.

2011

Our latest contribution to the environment: Melter is now a certified Climate Partner, offering climate-neutral print products and services. Our finishing facilities are additionally enhanced with the acquisition of a UV coating unit, installed into our offline finishing system.

2010

A new Xerox iGen4 digital printing machine is added to our digital printing facilities: ensuring increasingly individual, full-colour, qualitatively enhanced and totally flexible print capabilities.

2006 - 2009

Some other new systems are added on: an 8-page web-offset system with 6/6 colour printing options and a new offline finishing system offering a wide range of conversion and finishing options. In addition, a 150 kW photovoltaic system is put into operation.

2000 - 2005

Our new 2000 m² Factory Workshop II is completed. The finishing facilities are moved into the new operative headquarters. The Melter print capabilities undergo further expansion with an additional 16-page web-offset system. A new department is born into the company: melter dialog solutions. The new digital print systems enables 4/4 colour, totally customised print processes.

1989 – 1999

Expansion of the operating equipment with two 8-page web offset presses, a 16-page system, an offline-finishing system and the first design and lettering system, marking our entry into the customised-print sector. Another production hall is added on to house the after-print finishing facilities.

1984 – 1988

The print shop is expanded thanks to the increasing customer demand. Relocation to the new administrative and operative headquarters in the Lugwaldstrasse. Very shortly after that: entry into the reel-fed offset printing sector, with our first 8-page system.
